What you get in the sessions

Six one-to-one lessons over a screen share. You drive the platform, Mark explains what you are looking at.

📈 A demo account with $50,000

Opened together in session one and credited with virtual funds, so position sizing and risk limits can be practised at a realistic scale.

🎓 How the machinery works

Bid and ask, spread, order types, leverage, margin. What each button on the platform actually does to your position.

Answers to your questions

At your pace, in plain English. Nothing is recorded and sold on afterwards; the session is yours.

Practice between sessions

You log your own simulated trades and the reasons behind them. We read that journal together in session six.

🔒 Free access, with no subscription and no hidden sale

You pay nothing for the lessons, the materials or the account. There is no paid tier at the end — see how the school is funded.

This material is for information and education only and is not a financial recommendation. Financial markets carry risk, and most retail investor accounts lose money trading leveraged products.

Six sessions, taken in order

Each one builds on the last. You can stop after any session, and plenty of people do.

  1. 01

The demo account and the platform

We open your demo account together, credit it with $50,000 in virtual funds, and go through the platform screen by screen: watchlist, chart, order ticket, positions, history.

You can place a simulated order without guessing
  2. 02

    What a price actually is

Bid, ask, spread, liquidity, slippage and market hours. Why the number on the chart is not the number you get filled at.

You can read a quote and explain what trading costs
  3. 03

Order types and what they do to you

Market, limit, stop, stop-limit. What each one guarantees, what it does not, and the situations where each one behaves badly.

You choose an order type on purpose, not by default
  4. 04

    Risk, position size and leverage

What one per cent of the account actually is in money, what leverage does to a loss as well as a gain, and how a margin call happens. Worked through on your own practice account.

You can size a simulated position from a written rule
  5. 05

Reading a chart without fooling yourself

Timeframes, trend, support and resistance, and the common indicators. Just as importantly: hindsight bias, and why a chart always looks obvious after the fact.

You can describe what a chart shows and what it does not
  6. 06

Your journal and an honest review

We read the trades you logged between sessions, separate the decisions from the outcomes, and write down what you would change. Then we agree what is worth working on next.

A written record of your own decisions and mistakes
The sessions are taught by

Mark Barsky

A private trader who has been teaching beginners one to one since 2023. He teaches on demo accounts only, because that is where a beginner can make every mistake once without it costing anything.

💼 Five years of practical experience in financial markets
🎓 Teaches complete beginners, one to one, in English
💻 You place the orders on the demo account, he explains what each one does
📅 A limited number of sessions each week, by appointment
🚫 Not a licensed financial adviser: he explains how markets work, gives no investment advice, and never holds or manages anyone else's money

What is included, and what we do not do

Two short lists, so you know exactly what you are booking before you open the bot.

What you get

  • A demo account opened with you and credited with $50,000 in virtual funds.
  • Someone explaining the screen while you drive it: order book, chart, spread, stop.
  • How position sizing and risk limits are calculated, and why they exist.
  • A written journal of your own simulated trades, reviewed with you in session six.
  • A clear idea of where you stand and what to practise next.

What we do not do

  • Hand out withdrawable money. The $50,000 is virtual and stays in the simulator.
  • Give investment advice, trade recommendations or signals of any kind.
  • Manage your money. Mark never handles funds or accounts.
  • Promise or estimate a profit. Nobody can honestly do that.
  • Teach anyone under 18, or in a country where this is restricted.

How to start

Everything runs through the Telegram bot. There is no form on this site and no call centre.

01

Open the bot

The button opens a Telegram chat with the school bot. Telegram is a free messaging app; you need an account to use it.

02

Answer three questions

Your time zone, your experience level, and what you want to understand. That is all the bot collects.

03

Pick a slot

Available times appear in the chat. Mark teaches a limited number of sessions a week, so the first free slot may be several days out.

04

Join the call

A link arrives before the session. Nothing needs preparing: opening the demo account is what session one is for.

If it is free, how is it paid for?

You should know this before the first session, so it is here rather than buried in the terms.

Referral fees from brokers

The lessons are free. Mark takes part in referral programmes run by brokerage firms. If you later decide to open an account with one of the brokers he mentions, and you use his referral link, that broker may pay him a fee. That fee comes from the broker, not from you, and it does not change what you pay the broker.

You are not required to open an account with anyone. The whole six-session program runs on the demo account, and it works just as well on a demo account you already have or one you pick yourself. If you tell Mark you are not interested in broker referrals, the lessons continue unchanged.

This is a conflict of interest

Someone who is paid when you open a brokerage account has a financial reason to make trading sound attractive. Being mentioned by Mark is not a recommendation and not a judgement that a broker is suitable for you. Check the firm on your own national regulator's register and read its fee schedule before you open anything.

Common questions

What is the $50,000 exactly?

It is the virtual balance of the demo account we open in session one. Simulated money, provided by the trading platform for practice, at a scale that makes position sizing and risk limits realistic to work through. It cannot be withdrawn, transferred or converted, and it is not a bonus, a credit or a prize.

Is it really free, with nothing to pay later?

Yes. There is no paid tier, no upsell and no invoice at the end. Mark is paid through broker referral fees, as described above, and only if you choose to use a referral link. You can complete all six sessions without spending anything.

Will I make money after these lessons?

The sessions teach you how the mechanics work and how to think about risk, which is the part most beginners skip. What they are not is a way to make money: nobody can promise you a profit, the majority of retail investor accounts lose money trading leveraged products, and this is not sold as a method for beating that.

Do I need experience?

No. The program is written for people who have never placed a trade. If you already trade actively, the six sessions will mostly cover ground you know.

Will Mark tell me what to trade?

No. He does not give trade ideas, signals or investment advice, in the lessons or afterwards. If you ask what to buy, he will explain why he will not answer that.

What data does the bot collect?

Your Telegram username, your time zone, your stated experience level and what you want to learn. Nothing else. See the privacy policy for how it is stored and how to have it deleted.
