Mark TRD School
Program · Six sessions · Demo accounts only

What the six sessions cover

About 20 minutes each, one-to-one, over a screen share. Everything is placed on your demo account, which we open in session one and credit with $50,000 in virtual funds. You keep the notes and the journal; there is nothing to buy at the end.

Before you start

What you need

A computer

A desktop or laptop with a stable connection. A phone works for the conversation but not for the platform work.

Telegram

Scheduling and messages run through the school bot. Telegram is free and available on every major platform.

20 minutes a session

Short and one-to-one, so no time goes on things you already understand. Plus a little time between sessions to log the simulated trades you place on your own.

$50,000

In virtual funds

Credited to your demo account in session one, so position sizing and risk limits can be worked through at a realistic scale. Simulated money, not withdrawable.

The sequence

Session by session

The sessions are cumulative, so they are taken in order. You can stop at the end of any session with no obligation and no cost.

  1. S / 01

The demo account and the platform

We open your demo account together and credit it with $50,000 in virtual funds. Then a tour of the platform: watchlist, chart window, order ticket, open positions, closed history, account summary.

The $50,000 is a teaching scale rather than a forecast of what anyone would start with for real, and a demo account cannot reproduce everything: real fills in a fast market, financing costs over weeks, or the feeling of watching a real balance move. Session one says so plainly, so nothing later comes as a surprise.

Outcome — you can place and close a simulated order without guessing
  2. S / 02

    What a price actually is

Bid and ask, the spread, why the spread widens, market hours, liquidity, and slippage. We compare the quoted price with the price a simulated order is filled at, and add up the cost of trading over a series of trades.

Outcome — you can read a quote and state the cost of entering a position
  3. S / 03

Order types and what they do to you

Market, limit, stop and stop-limit orders. What each type guarantees and what it does not: a stop order does not guarantee your price, a limit order does not guarantee a fill. We place each type on the demo account and look at the situations where each behaves badly.

Outcome — you choose an order type on purpose, not by default
  4. S / 04

    Risk, position size and leverage

How to calculate the amount at risk in a position before opening it, how leverage multiplies a loss exactly as it multiplies a gain, what margin is, and how a margin call happens. We deliberately blow up the $50,000 practice account to see the sequence from the inside.

This is the session that matters most.

Outcome — you can size a simulated position from a written rule
  5. S / 05

Reading a chart without fooling yourself

Timeframes, trend, ranges, support and resistance, and how the common indicators are calculated. Equal time goes to the limits: indicators lag by construction, a chart looks obvious in hindsight, and any pattern can be found in random data if you look for it.

No pattern taught here predicts a price. Nothing does.

Outcome — you can describe what a chart shows and what it does not
  6. S / 06

Your journal and an honest review

Between sessions you log your own simulated trades: what you did, why, and what happened. In the final session we read the journal together, separate the decisions from the outcomes, and write down what you would change.

We finish by agreeing what is worth working on next, and Mark will tell you straight if he thinks trading is not a good use of your time. That answer is free too.

Outcome — a written record of your own decisions and mistakes
Limits

What the program deliberately leaves out

Not covered, by design

  • Any strategy presented as profitable, tested or proven.
  • Trade ideas, signals, watchlists or opinions on specific instruments.
  • Which broker you should use, or where to send your money.
  • Automated systems, bots, copy trading and managed accounts.
  • Tax and legal treatment, which depend on your country and require a professional.

Why

Mark is not licensed to give investment advice and does not give it. A course that promised any of the items on the left would either be a regulated activity or an untruthful claim, and often both.

What is left is the part that can be taught honestly: how the machinery works, what things cost, and how risk is measured.
