Who teaches the sessions
Mark Barsky is a private trader based in Dubai. Five years on the markets, teaching beginners one to one since 2023. This page says what he does in a session and, just as plainly, what he is not.
You drive the platform, Mark explains it
Every lesson is a screen share on a demo account. He watches what you do, answers what you ask, and stops you when you are about to learn something expensive.
Mark, in his own words
I have been trading my own money since 2021, badly at first and expensively. I started teaching people one to one in 2023, because friends kept asking me questions that no beginner article seemed to answer honestly.
I am based in Dubai and teach in English. I do this in my own time, in a limited number of sessions each week, which is why the calendar is often full.
What I teach is mechanics: how an order reaches a market, what it costs, how a position is sized, how leverage turns a small mistake into a large one. I teach it on a demo account loaded with $50,000 in virtual funds, because a beginner should be allowed to make every one of those mistakes once without paying for it.
What I do not teach is a way to make money. I do not have one to give you, and neither does anyone selling you a course.
What I am not
- Not a licensed or regulated financial adviser, in any country.
- Not a broker, an introducing broker of record, or an employee of one.
- Not a fund manager. I never hold, receive or manage anyone else's money.
- Not the owner of a verified performance record. I do not publish trading results, because a personal track record is not something you can independently check, and an unverifiable number is worth nothing to you.
- Not able to tell you whether trading suits you until we have spoken.
How the sessions run
One person at a time
No group webinars and no recordings sold afterwards. The session goes at the pace of your questions.
Screen share
You drive the platform, I watch and explain. Placing the orders yourself is the part that sticks.
Demo accounts only
$50,000 in virtual funds from session one to session six. I do not need access to any account you own, and I never handle money.
Homework in writing
Between sessions you log your simulated trades and the reasons behind them. We read that log in session six.
Why teach for free
Two reasons, and the second one is financial, so you should weigh it.
The first is that most of what a beginner is told about trading is sold to them, and the selling shapes the teaching. Removing the price removes that pressure. I can tell someone in session six that they should not be doing this, which is not a sentence you hear from a paid course.
The second is that I take part in referral programmes run by brokerage firms. If you decide, on your own, to open an account with a broker I have mentioned and you use my link, the broker may pay me a fee. That is a conflict of interest and you should treat everything I say about brokers with it in mind. It costs you nothing, it is entirely optional, and the six sessions run on a demo account whether or not you ever open anything.
